I love to eat, write, and talk about BBQ, and have hosted the BBQ Smoker Site (http://www.bbqsmokersite.com) for about three years.
I'm a Certified Barbecue Judge with KCBS, and try to make it to as many KCBS and FBA (Florida Bar-B-Que Association) events as I can.
My Day Job
I'm actually in both the education field and the home mortgage field, so you'll see hubs from me relatd to these areas as well. That's what I love most about hubpages. The groups feature lets us explore and share what we know about all of the areas that enrich our lives.
Why I Write
I write because it helps me play around with the various characters in my head. The wealth of information available on the web today is astounding, but I can only mantain a couple of websites at any given time when they're concentrated on key subjects.

These sites keep me plenty busy, but I found that Hubpages is a place where I can just let my mind wander. The grouping feature is awesome, as I can easily categorize my ramblings.
